Climbing

For many mountain climbers, the Bohemian Paradise is their second home.
The major climbing areas are in Prachov rocks; in certain areas access is forbidden, anyhow, you are obliged to respect special rules. Climbing is possible in Hruboskalsko (pulverizing sandstone), by the Mužský peak and Příhraz (hard and pulverizing sandstone), Suché Skály and in Klokočské Skály.
Climbing is permitted only to registered mountain climbers or under the guidance of an instructor!

With instructors, you can experience climbing up, rope down and rope bridges. Equipment and training is ensured.

A TIP FOR A TRIP:
Going down the river Jizera through the picturesque valley in the section of Malá Skála – Dolánky u Turnova. The length of the passage is 9 km, it takes approx. 2-3 hours, you can make good time by stopping at haughs and bathing in the river Jizera.
The difficultness of the cruise is WW 1-2, gently flowing river with a depth of 2 metres.
The cruise is realised on canoes Pálava (2+1 person) or on rafts Colorado (4-6 persons). At request we equip you with life jackets, bags for valuables, event. with a guide.
In case of your interest you can prolong the trip by taking a boat in Spálov (above Železný Brod), the length of the cruise to Dolánky u Turnova is approx. 21 km.
