Veliš
Peak (430m) with ruins of a gothic castle, about 3km west by south from Jičín. The eastest sightseeing point of the Bohemian Paradise. On the top here are ruins of the gothic castle and basalt rocks which used to be mined here. The Veliš castle was founded about 1300 as a centre of a royal power in the Jičín region.

Castle Kost
One of the most proved and the most beautiful gothic castles in Bohemia. The casthe was founded in 14th century on the sandstone rock. Contemporary exposition creates possesion of Kinsky family, Renaissance kitchen and illustration of historical weapons from the military museum.

Plakanek walley
Picturesque walley under the Kost castle, lined with sandstone rocks. In the surroundings of the castle there are several ponds that were in history very important for his protection.
Castle Valdštejn
The oldest castle of the Bohemian Paradise, nowadays the ruins of a gothic castle, which was founded in 13th century.Two stone bridges with copies of baroque statues.

Ruins of castles and chatteaux
Trosky
Ruins of castle, that was built on two volcano peaks in 14th century, is one of the best known symbol of the Bohemian Paradise. Today only two towers called Baba (the Old Woman) and Panna (the Maiden) can be seen. Trosky ranks among the most visited castles in the Czech republic.

Brada
The Gothic castle used to be the residence of the Načeradec family. Today there are statues of St. Peter and Paul in memorial of the battle of 1866.
Rotštejn
Ruins of a rock castle Potštejn with myths and fairy-tales. The castle is accesible only in cause of a dry weather.
Kumburk
Ruins of a gothic castle standing on the top of a basalt hill near Nová Paka. The remains of the main tower have been preserved as well as the underground rooms. There is also memorial plaque of poet Karel Hynek Mácha.

Hrubá Skála
Built on the sandstone rocks at the place of the original gothic castle from the 14th century, reconstructed into a renaissance chateau, then in the middle of the 19th century again re-gothicised. Nowadays a private hotel.

Prachovské rocks
Prachovské rocks are the most visiting area in the surroundings of Jičín.This sandstone rock town in the south part of the Bohemian Paradise is situated in forested landscape, aproximately 7 km from Jičín. Very attractive area for tourists and climbers. It is preserved as a nature preserve.

Hruboskalské rock town
On the occasion of the Day of Earth in 1998 was declared as nature preserve. Tourist the most favourite track is Golden footpath oh the Bohemian Paradise with a lot of outlooks – one of the best known is Mariánská outlook, which shows the panorama of the chatteau Hrubá Skála and the ruins of castle Trosky.

Nature preserve situated about 4 km from the town Turnov is formed by 1,5 km long rocky wall wiht lots of caves with ruins of the rocky castle Rotštejn.
