You will reach the castle of Valečov from the parking place below it. The castle was founded in 13th century and was partially carved in rocks, partially built of wood and stone. You can visit the castle with a guide. You will be offered great view of the surrounding.
From the castle you will follow the red track and pass round rocky rooms, which were still settled at the end of 19th century. You will pass the crossroad of Skalka, rocky gorges and you will reach the edge of a large plateau. There is a turning to left to Klamorna where you can find remains of medieval castle. The red track will lead you across the plateau of Hrada - a settlement from the Stone Ages. Then you will reach Drábské Světničky, a rocky castle from the end of 13th century. Today you can find here 18 rooms carved into rocks. It served as a house of prayer during counter-reformation. There is a blue track leading from Drábské Světničky to the villages of Dneboh and Zásadka. From Zásadka you can reach the parking place below the castle of Valečov following the red track. At the edge of the village of Dneboh you will pass the area called Kavčina. On 27th June 1926 there were eleven houses destroyed by a landslide. Today you can still see trees growing here sideways.
Our basic track follows red and blue signs through a rocky gorge Studený průchod to a restaurant Na Krásné vyhlídce. Near the restaurant you can see a gorge area called Trhlinová propast. We will follow the green track below the peak of Mužský (463 m). There is a turning going to the top of the hill where you will be offered a beautiful circular view. A monument commemorates the battle that took place here in 1866 during the war between Prussia and Austria. The village of Mužský situated below the hill is interesting for its half-timbered houses and groups of old linden trees. In the middle of the village you can find a bell tower. The historic core of Mužský was proclaimed a memorial zone in 1995.
The green track will lead you from Mužský to the crossroad of Skalka. From there you can follow either a red track or a green-marked cycling path, both leading to the parking place below the castle of Valečov.
