Železnice square - Tábor (5 km) - Klepanda (11 km) - Železnice, square (16,5 km)
Železnice is a small spa town situated 5 km far from Jičín. The current form of historical core was created after the fire in 1826 as a unique empire urban complex, and became the Urban Memorial Zone. On the square there is a column of the Blessed Virgin from 1794. The town museum is housed inside an empire house close to the baroque church.
You will follow the red-marked Golden Track of the Bohemian Paradise along the road, passing a ranch and leading to the forest. Still following the track you will cross the Kyjský ridge and walk down to the village of Kyje. You will come to the railway station and then you have to remount up to the top of Tábor peak. On the top there is a baroque church from 1704, originally a gothic chapel. There is the Calvary leading to the top of the hill. You will descend along a red-mark narrow road to the village of Chlum and further along the main road to the village of Ploužnice. After crossing the railway you will turn to the left, still following the red marks. You will pass the village of Žďár u Kumburku and come to the well-known restaurant called Klepanda. Ruins of the castle of Kumburk can be seen approx. 2 km far away from here (red and yellow track). You will follow the blue-marked track along the road and later through a forest. You will come to ruins of the castle of Bradlec. Today we can find only remains of a gate and a tower on the top of the peak. Keep following the blue track that will lead you to a small village of Újezdec where some half-timbered cottages can be seen. Still following the blue track, you will pass a poultry farm and crossroads with turnoffs to Lháň and Soběraz and you will come to a crossroad where the blue and red tracks meet. Turn right and follow the red track; you will pass the village of Těšín with a peak of Železný on your right. The red track will lead you back to the town of Železnice.
